The Pet Registry: Pet Pages

The Pet Registry was developed for the needs of pet owners everywhere. The Pet Registry serves two functions: Pet Pages and Pet Classifieds. Pet Pages are discussed below and Pet Classifieds are discussed in the green section to the right.

Pet Pages are designed as an extra measure of protection against losing your pet. It is easy and simple to use. Create an account for yourself. This allows you to log-in periodically and change your pet page at your leisure. If you register a puppy today, he will likely look quite different in a year and you will want to update his photo, for example. Then you will create a pet page containing the vital information about your pet and contact information for yourself. You can view a sample pet page in this site to get an idea of the service you will be receiving.

You will then be asked to pay as follows:

$20 annual membership for up to 5 Pet ID's

We do not currently extend beyond one year of membership. However, at the end of this time, you may renew your subscription. Once this is complete, you will receive 5 unique ID numbers for your pet or pets. You will need to have an ID tag made and placed on your pet's collar that has the name of this website, "ThePetReg.com" and your pet's unique ID number on it. Pet tags can be made at kiosks in Wal-Mart, PetSmart and at some of the websites indicated in this site.

If your pet becomes lost, the finder will simply enter the web address and the ID number into the appropriate space. That ID number will access your Pet Page and contact information so that your pet can not only be safely returned to you but properly cared for until you are reunited.
